We recently stayed at a lovely bed and breakfast in Maine, and it was a memorable experience for the whole family. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Lise, the proprietress, who was incredibly patient with my attempts at French. It was heartening to see her devotion to her dog, and we even spent an afternoon watching a litter of adorable puppies, which my three sons absolutely adored. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, perfect for our family needs. The boys loved exploring the woods nearby, where we also indulged in cross-country skiing – it turned out to be a delightful winter activity that kept us all engaged. We appreciated the charming atmosphere of the log beams and the craftsmanship throughout the property. Breakfast was quite satisfactory, featuring Lise's homemade maple butter and syrup, which my sons enjoyed immensely. With quick Wi-Fi and easy communication, our stay was seamless. We look forward to frequent visits to this quaint spot over the next few years, as it feels like a wonderful retreat for families.
